Canon 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera, EOS Rebel XS —

I recieved this camera for my birthday this year, and I have to say I love it!!!!! I had been wanting a Digital SLR but had my sights set on a Sony. When I got the Cannon Rebel instead I was a little un sure about it. After spending a few minutes reading the specs and everything I was anxious to get started shooting! I went outside to take a few shots and headed back to upload them to my computer. I was amazed at the resolution and how it picked up everything down to the fuzz in the leafs on the flowers. I love it! There is one down side though, I had wanted one that I could look at the screen and snap, without having to look through the eye lense, and my uncle (who bought the camera for me) was told I would be able to do that by the sales clerk but that is negative! You have to look through the eye piece and focus then you can preview your photos after you shoot! Over all I am happy with my new Cannon and after reading all the reviews on it I am thrilled that my Uncle bought the one he thought was best, because it is one of the top 5 cameras in reviews!

You can actually use the "live view". You have to enable it in the menu. Reading the manual can do wonders for helping you learn your camera :)
