Great Camera!!!!!

I recieved this camera for my birthday this year, and I have to say I love it!!!!! I had been wanting a Digital SLR but had my sights set on a Sony. When I got the Cannon Rebel instead I was a little un sure about it. After spending a few minutes reading the specs and everything I was anxious to get started shooting! I went outside to take a few shots and headed back to upload them to my computer. I was amazed at the resolution and how it picked up everything down to the fuzz in the leafs on the flowers. I love it! There is one down side though, I had wanted one that I could look at the screen... review »

Canon Rebel XS

After purchasing this camera and using it one week, I am HOOKED. I found my new nitch, cause the Canon Rebel makes even an experienced photographer, take pictures that look professional. I am still exploring all of the buttons and features, but I am LOVING it! Already planning my next purchase, a new lense for it!

I really like this camera. i got it for my birthday and havent been able to mess with it much, but i am finding more and more that i refuse to go back to a point and shoot camera. i recommend this camera. i was unsure at first cause i really wanted a Nikon, but after i got this camera i am pleased with it. and about viewing it through the LCD before you take a pic, you can, but only in certain settings. in the settings just hit the <set> button and it will bring up the preview on the LCD and then you can take the pic that way! I am ready to start buying accessories for it and getting started...
