“Good Deal--Better Than Most at This Price”

This camera is a good buy for its price. There are all the normal controls (more manual controls than Sony), and there is a mic input. It you find it on sale, it becomes a great deal, and I bought it because it is a great deal. It is very easy to use because, most of the time, you can keep the camera on "easy" setting and just worry about pressing the start/stop record button. “Very good for the price !”

I own a sony mini dv camcorder. I had to buy one more because my wife needed one too. This one is so small and smaller than some digital cameras. you can just put it in your pocket and bring it around wherever you go. Sound quality and picture quality is very good and it is very easy to use. I see a comment below that there is no rewind, play, forward etc.. buttons, but actually those function is displayed on the screen, which is very unique. so you have to push the knob to display that function on the screen.
