I have owned my Canon Powershot for a few years and am overall happy with it. It is the perfect size to throw in your bag for those moments that you just have to take a picture, you parents understand. It has many options when it comes to the type of picture you want to take: portrait, low light, landscape..but I find myself leaving it set on one mode for all my pictures. The screen is a generous size and shows a very clear picture. The video mode is nice but I have found that when playing the video back on the computer or TV it is blurry so it wouldn't be what you would want to use if recording...
read full review »This has 7.1 MP and is one of the best entry level point and shoots your money can buy. It uses AA batteries and a SD memory card. Because of the battery chamber, you have a nice little grip handle which a lot of cameras don't have, making it easy to put fingers in front of the flash or lens. It also has IS (image stabilization) which really adds to the quality of your shots and allows for less rejected pics. I noticed it can be a little slow on flash recylcing but it's not a huge inconvenience as long as you are not in a hurry to get that next special shot. The colors are more accurate...
read full review »This camera is small enough to put in a small case, but takes great pictures, whether you take at a distance or zoom in. Our cats are so used to us with our camera, they pose for us!
