Canon Telephoto Zoom Lens, 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS —
When looking to add a lens to the regular kit lens, it doesn't get any better than this lens, for this price. It is not going to rival the higher end L class lenses, but is also not going to be over [$]as well.For this price, you get a sturdy, fairly sharp lense, that can perform excellently in good light. You do really have to look deep at pictures to tell the difference between this and the[$]more expensive 70-300mm IS lens. This lens is the perfect companion to the 18-55 kit and will give you great shots, time and time again. Buy it, and a good size flash unit for the same price as just the 70-300mm lens.
