Garmin Nuvi 255W, 4.3 in. Widescreen GPS Navigation System
GPS is nice and simple to use!
Pros: simple touch screen , nice widescreen, fast processor so it connects to satellites very quickly, and the text-to-speech feature is great.
Cons: power cord seems kind of big and bulky for such a small device.
Magellan Roadmate 2035 GPS
We received a roadmate as a gift and we were so excited to have one untill we tried to use it. It worked fine for the first day but when we tried to load in the new updates for the maps, which was included with it, it frose up and would not work. When I called magellan to see what they could do about it, they could not fix it. They said i would have to send it in and since I did not have a credit card to give them, I would have to wait untill they received it to see if I could get a new one. I had to pay for the shipping also. I didnt think this was very fair since I hadnt even got to use it...
