Pros: unpack only once, Food was good, affordable, We loved the assigned dining!, all the food you want--included, Staff was exceptionable, good service, Low cost
Cons: Hated that kids had access to hot tub., charging for soft drinks, unforseen cost, Party boat, Rowdy passengers

Carnival Cruise Lines - Elation —

We took a cruise on the Carnival Ship Elation to the Mexican Rivera (7 day). While we had a great time it was apparent that this is a "budget" cruise and more for the younger crowd or people traveling with children. We had great service and the formal dining was fantastic. We had a wonderful time at dinner. I did not like that the kids were able to go anywhere they wanted. Very frustrating when we wanted to enjoy the hot tub at 9pm and there were children in it! If you want to have a party atmosphere or be on a ship that is tolerant of children then this is the cruise for you.
