I have been struggling for most of my life to keep my acne-prone skin clear and have been to numerous dermatologists and have tried nearly every acne product on the market.
Last fall I went to a new dermatologist who asked me to stop using harsh cleansers and treatments on my skin and suggested I use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. Well I was totally skeptical that something so gentle would work on the skin issues I have, but I had faith in her medical opinion and gave it a try. I've used - and loved - Cetaphil cleanser for many years. And, though I've strayed, tempted by other cleansers with prettier packaging, fancier ingredients and more compelling anti-aging claims, I always return to my all-time fave. Blissfully gentle, skin-loving and fragrance-free!
If your skin get irritated easily then I would recommend this product to you. I have very temperamental skin and this never causes a reaction.
I always thought Cetaphil was cheap, low quality stuff. Turns it it's my new standby - always and forever. Cetaphil facial cleansing products are inexpensive and super effective. What more can you ask for? Seems to work on many different skin types.
My daughter uses cetaphil and loves how it cleans without drying out her skin. A bit pricey however.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is a must have. Skin care provided to critically ill patients is called "courtesy care" if the patient is not aware of it. For this care, we insisted on Cetaphil. But healthy, active people use it too! Camping? Flea Marketing?

I have found it works well for: babies, elderly, immobile, bariatric (very obese), people with a cast or in traction, and just any time you really need to freshen up and can't get to a shower.
