Bought this Char-Broil 2 burner gas grill on sale at Sears.  The assembly instructions were a bit confusing and it took me well over an hour to fully complete set up with a few hand tools.  Generally the parts were of decent quality and the assembly was not real difficult; but it was time consuming. ...

Most Helpful Critical Review

The grill  needs improvement on the assembly hardware. The grill itself is not that hard to put together except for the clips on the underside of the knobs and ignition switch. The directions are very fuzzy and the picture is not accurate on how the clips go on.

The screws used for assembly are cheaply...

Great Grill for the Price!!

We had bought the same grill in 2007 for $99.00. We are the type of people who grill all year round. We even took it on vacation with us!! After 4 years we needed to replace it. So we found the same grill for even cheeper so we jumped on getting it......Lets hope this one will last us 4 more years!!

I purchased this grill as a gift for my daughter for her first condo.  It fits perfectly on her tiny patio and is easy to use!  The size is just perfect for her and her friends and easily holds enough food for gatherings at her home.  The price was very reasonable and all in we are very happy with the purchase.

Although assembeling this thing was a mess (the parts weren't labeled vary clearly on the package) it has worked pretty well.

One word of advide though is that you find a way to either make yourself shorter, or make the grill taller. It is very short but sturdy on the legs provided.

The wheels work well too, something that I've had issues with when I had to move the previous grills we've had.

The food cooks evenly enough, but the temperature gauge is finicky, just a little bit off and it's either really hot or really cold.

I'm impressed with this grill as a low end but not enough to give it five...

Great price, but very small. Smaller than a similar model from a few years back that lasted 8 years. Plus it doesn't have a second tier rack, nor can you purcahse one for it. But it will serve the purpose of cooking for me and my wife. And you can always do a couple round sof burgers if you are having a party.

great price for this grill

This grill is a bargain and is great for simple use, nothing fancy.

I purchased this gas grill and I love how easy and effortless it is to use.  I live in an apartment and have a small patio so the size is perfect for the space I have.  This is actually the second one I have purchased in the last 5 years so it is very durable.

This grill is so underpowered that you cannot get grill marks on your food.  While the outside of the grill gets extremely hot the grates on the inside remain relatively cool in comparison.  The beef cooked on this grill comes out pasty grey in color and cold in the center.  I tried pineapple and it would not even cook.  It also is held together with plastic wing nuts which are the only thing that seems to be getting hot enough to melt.

In a word, Do not waste your money on this item.

This grill is easy to use its a good grill for one person. But it is hard to assembly.

Bel Air Sears offered to assemble my new gas grill and have it ready in three days. When I arrived at the store a sign directed me into a marked parking spot. I dialed the number on the sign from my cell phone and gave "Chuck" the information on my sales ticket. Within five minutes Chuck brought out the assembled grill and put it in my vehicle. I only got out of my car to thank him and he shook my hand and inquired if there was any other help I needed.

My family has shopped Sears for many years but this great experience impressed me so much. I am so thankful this kind of customer service...

Saw this grill at Sears for $ 99.00.   I have been looking for some time for a smaller grill for my balcony.  I have bought a few table top models in the past from various manufacturers.   It came time for a grill with side tables and this one looked to be just the right size and it was (by about 2 inches).   This grill is solid when put together properly.  the side tables have a little play when pulling it, but do not plan to use it as a cart.   The grate is ok. could use a little heavier duty one, such as cast iron, but has worked really well the way it is.   It has push button ignitor...

I realize this is an inexpesnive grill, but once we figured out the instructions from the confusing manual, it still didn't work. Seems like a" rube goldberg" design from a Junior Achievment project. We will be returning it if we can't get it to fire up.
