I decided to buy a Chi after my daughter used one at a friend's. I couldn't get over how silky her hair was and how shiny it looked. They are a lot more expensive than I would normally consider for a hair appliance, but I knew it would be worth it. My hair is pretty long and thick. If left to air dry it is also pretty wavy. I have used many different straighteners and never gotten results like I do with the Chi. It heats up very quickly and has several heat settings. I find that I need to leave mine set at 410 degrees to get results, but my hair has not shown any signs of damage like...

The CHI is the BEST!!!! Saying my hair is resistant to staying straight is huge understatement. The CHI not only gets my hair straight but leaves it silky and shiny, and it doesn't leave that burnt hair smell behind that the other hot appliance products do. Their hair products are awesome as well. I have never been one to spend money on my hair, but this is one that Suave just can't replicate. Well worth every penny!!!
This is great for anyone who has extra money to splurge. I have super crazy curly hair and so because Chis go up really hot and does a great job of straightening my hair. This saves me so much time. Although it is pricey, a chi is a really good investment.
I have been through my share of straighteners - and generally came to the conclusion that they were not worth the time. When I got bangs - too bad, had to have one. This chi straightener is awesome - takes me maybe 5 minutes to get my bangs straight. I don't always take the time to straighten my whole head of hair - but when I do, this works better than anything else ever has. I have thick, curly hair - and it really gets it pin straight without much fuss.
I love it. It's a bit costly though.
The Chi Flat Iron is good to have at home all year around. I do not need to visit a hair salon to straighten my hair; I can do it myself. I've become a professional hairstylist using this wonderful flat iron! I can also curl my hair too!
I recommend this hair tool, so do not hesitate to purchase as soon as you can.

The Chi is the best straightener I've ever used. I have long, very thick, and curly hair. It's curly enough that on some days, I can put mousse and scrunch it, and it'll be curly. But left to air dry alone, and it's a big frizzy mess. The Chi straightenes my hair faster than any other straightener I've ever used. It also leaves it very shiny and healthy looking. I've used straighteners that have burned my hair, pulled my hair, and even "bent" my hair...all things I've never experienced with a Chi. I also love the Chi product line, they work great together. This is truly great. Works magic on all that frizz and fly-aways! If you have frizzy hair then try this product.
This is a definate must have for all who have curly kinky hair! This flat iron does what it says that it says it will do, and that is straighten hair! It is easy to use and does the trick. Just be careful not to burn your hairline, face or fingers because this things gets extremely hot!
THis is the best flat iron out there! I have tried many brands before finally purchasing this and nothing compares to a Chi. I can straighten my hair in no time it leaves hair shiny, easy to manage and beautiful. It is more costly but definetly worth it. I will never buy another brand!
My hair is lifeless and limp and when my hairdresser used this on my hair, it came to life! Then I decided to get one at Sears. Ok, I feel better, I look better and my husband agrees ;)
