The clicker universal garage door opener remote is simple to program and use.  It has a sleek design, is light weight, and conveniently clips onto my car mirror.  I bought two, one to replace an old remote and another to add and extra for another family member.  We have only been using it for two...

Horrible range

While this remote is reliable in that it works every time, the range on it is horrendous. I sometimes can't get my garage door to close while I am still in the driveway - and my driveway is only about as long as a large SUV! As a result, I'm getting a remote with more range and relegating this one to... read full review »

This remote works great so far. Was able to consolidate from three remotes to two. Wish there was a three button version! Was relatively easy to program for two different Craftsman garage door openers.

I bought this garage door remote for a family member. Although the directions for set up seemed a little complicated when reading them, it only takes a few minutes to figure it out when you're actually looking at the garage door opener.

The price was in the mid-range for remotes and it has proven to be a great buy!  This garage door remote will open the garage door from a pretty good distance. You can click it while in front of the house next door and the garage door will start to open.

I really can't think of a negative thing to say about the Chamberlain Universal Garage Door Remote. I will...

I bought a foreclosed home with a Chamberlain LiftMaster 1/3 hp garage door opener, with no instructions or remotes. I purchased two of the Clicker Universal Garage Door Opener Remote Controls as replacements.  The remotes came with good instructions and I easily programmed them within 10 minutes. The only downside is that the price of $35.99 each seemed a little high for such a basic item, especially when you have to purchase two at once.

great! it is really compatible even with the oldest motor detectors. And it is programmable in few seconds, on top of that, you can have two different codes for two different doors! loving it...

I bought the remote and used it for my 2004 genie garage door opener. The instructions were easy to follow and worked after the second try. I can open the garage door from the end of my drive way with no issues. I recommend it for any Do it Yourselfer

This was the first time I had to but a replacement...after this experience I won't worry any more.  Although I thought a replacement might be chaeper, the Clicker was easy to set up & program.  This model works with most garage door opener units, but suggests that it works better w/ '93 models or newer.

This Clicker Universal is an awesome replacement for me.  2 of my other remotes broke and I needed a replacement.  I have two Liftmaster Professional 1/3 HP garage door openers, and it took me all of 6 minutes to program both doors to this clicker.  Followed the 7 step directions and no problems.  Big time recommendation!

Easy to use instructions for set up

I have 2 Craftsman door openers; one is new, the other 15 years old. Both have the ability to be programmed digitally (that is, no toggle switches for the remote control). The instructions that came with the Clicker were complete and easy to understand. I only had to ascertain the color of the button on the back of each opener motor unit, and then follow the instructions. The Clicker "learned" the code the first time on each opener. The range is good; I use this Clicker to open the garage doors from my kitchen window, which is about 30 yards/meters away from the openers, and it works every time.

Great Opener For The Money...

After needing to purchase a garage door opener for the first time and having two different doors it needed to work with, I was pretty confused to say the least. This unit was easy to program and get up and running and has been working quite well. Definitely a good buy, especially if you need something that works with two completely different garage door systems.

Worked perfectly first time

I knew nothing about garage door openers or their remotes when I needed a replacement remote. This item worked perfectly. Directions were easy to follow and I programmed the remote on the first try in about 5 minutes. I would highly recommend this product.

Easy

This was so easy to install I was so impressed with myself and the product. I am a single mom and was able to get my opener to work in a matter of 15 mins.
