I am looking for your best keeping it together tips to get you through the holidays!  Where do you keep ALL that holiday wrapping paper?  Your Christmas tree, ornaments and other holiday decor?  Do you have these items somewhere that you can easily get to them, or are you making more of a mess trying to excavate them out of your storage room (maybe, that's just me!)?

Mine are up in the attic, in a place only they can fit in.

That works, AdamO.

I did buy a storage container made specifically for wrapping paper quite a few years ago.  This works, but, only if the rolls are a certain size.  Anything bigger than average, and forget it!

We do buy a fresh tree, every year, so, at least, that is one less item to store!

We have a pre lighted tree which we store in the garage, and all our ornaments and decorations are stored in the attic. We also have a lighted deer that goes in our front yard which we affectionately call 'Marge' we used to have a lighted snowman named 'Bob' but he met an un-timely death 2 days after we purchased him. Apparently Marge kicked him over LOL! (actually we have no idea what happened but the way we postioned them outside it sort of looked that way)

That is awesome, aynfarika.  You may have to get Marge a new friend, this year!

Well I don't keep much holiday stuff on hand as I really dislike clutter, so it's not too much of an issue.

For my holiday wrap, I have a tall Rubbermaid container made especially for wrapping paper. It has a lid with a flip top to store my scissors, bows, tape, and small odds & ends. The only thing I don't like about it is that some of my paper tubes are taller than the container so I can't keep the lid on. I'm getting away from using wrapping paper and using mroe giftbags so I just tuck them in the bottom of the container and they stay clean and fairly flat and unwrinkled.

Christmas ornaments and assorted tree trimming stuff is stored in 2 other Rubbermaid tubs that I keep in the basement. I tend to not collect many new things so I'm able to keep it pared down to just those 2 boxes. Then we have one other box of assorted Christmas stuff.

All of the Christmas decor is stored in Rubbermaid boxes that are colored for the particular holiday so they're easy to locate.  For example, the Christmas stuff is in green boxes with red lids, the Halloween stuff in black boxes with orange lids, and stuff for other holidays is in blue boxes that are labeled really big on the outside with what's inside.

Ok, Paula!  You are super orgainzed.  We use the Rubbermaid boxes for our Christmas decorations, but, it is a chore to get them out of that storage room.

We need to get one of those Rubbermaid wrapping paper containers.  Mine is just not doing the trick!
