What are the Fall fashions you guys are looking forward to the most?  Mine are ruffled shirts, high-waisted pencil skirts, deep purple polishes and eyeshadows, and boots, long cardigans, big cozy scarves, and capes.  I just wish it got cold enough in Texas to wear that stuff more than one week out of the year!  :(

I think Kmart would be the one with fashion forward designers from what I have been hearing and noticing lately. Sears does not push softlines and if they do, the only thing I know or care to mention is Lands' End.

However your fashionable style won't be satisfied at Lands' End, since it is a classic brand and you would maybe find these things at Kmart if and when they do release these new designer works.

I can't wait to get a new pair of awesome fall/winter boots.  Maybe a new fall coat-Land's End always has great fleece items.

It blows my mind that Lands' End is not as well loved or spoken of among anyone I know as J. Crew.

I would LOVE to try Land's End stuff out but I can never find anything in my size.  I see all kinds of cute stuff for the skinny folks of the world but nothing for us plus size gals.  So I generally walk right past that section as I know there's nothing there for me. It bums me out cuz I see some really cute things in the Land's End area but I know there's no point in looking as nothing there will fit me. My winter coat is Land's End but I bought it online.  I'd much rather be able to try stuff on in the store vs shop online and have to return stuff that didn't fit right.

I'm just going to miss all the women in short skirts and shorts.

I'm looking forward to a Craftsman belt buckle.

Hopefully, Sears still carries some form of belt, that uses snaps, instead of rivets, so the belt buckle can be given a home.

If the local Tandy Leather shop was still in business, I'd just buy the supplies to make my own belt.

I used to get my bolo making supplies there, also.

I wonder what their web presence is like?

I'm just looking forward to fall in general.  That's one thing that makes me almost regret moving to Texas- it's too bloody hot!  But I agree with Ianrocketman as well- I will also miss the girls with their wearing next to nothing fashion.  I need to work on my wolf whistle for next summer.

Well, guys in Texas, you know how hot it is, I think you'll still be seeing us in tiny clothes for a little while longer!

Maybe some extra polish on my shoes?

Saw this overview of fall shoe trends today - love them all, pretty much, but have to say the flats and the grays are probably my favorite. Yours?

I love the fall to just bundle up in a heavy sweater and scarf.  Plus, a good excuse to break out my favorite pair of boots.

I know this works for the Chicago area, for, oh, say, about a month.  Come mid November, it is usually time to break out the winter coat.

Does anyone else just add layers, as opposed to wearing a coat for the fall weather?

I'm really looking forward to getting a great pair of new boots.  I keep seeing them in the newspaper ads and on TV so I'm going to get some this year.  The problem is which ones to choose!  I might end up getting 2 pairs.

I LOVE the boot styles out now, that allows you to tuck your jeans in them.  This is one of my favorites:

I'm loving the fall boots this year too, JulieK!  My favorite color is gray (how weird is that?!), so my fave look would be:

I'm also loving anything & everything plaid this season! I've searched for the perfect plaid boyfriend shirt for about two weeks now, but can't seem to find one that 1. fits, and 2. is a flattering color.  Any help?!  (I have brown hair and darker features-see profile pic!)

I don't mean to hijack an apparel post, but I do see that you are talking shoes and that is right up my tree.  Laundry List and Apostrophe have some really cute boots!  I would also check out Restricted (my personal favorite) and Melrose Ave for the more casual look.

Next week we are doing BOGO 50% off shoes for the family, online only!!!

Boots are a HUGE part of fall fashion-at least for women!

It is now almost time for Christmas Party season, too.  Does your employer have a party every year?

I love the "shop by occasion" option offered on Sears.com. This lets me pinpoint exactly what I am looking for!

Route 66 has some really fun and trendy sweaters out there!
