I bought this system about 7 months ago and I love it. The sound is loud and yes the dvd player is small but i never had any problems with this system. I would like to buy one for my bedroom next the price is great and you can purchase a warranty and we did for backup

Pros: Cheap, does the job, easy to put together.

Cons: Audible hiss and occasional pop sounds when it connects.
Not the most powerful system, the remote is not intuitive, and the biggest problem for me was the wire situation.

OUCH! Bought this, returned it next day. Terrible sound, no bass. Very short speaker wires, means u must splice. Spend an extra $50.00 to get a real system!
I bought this item for my husband. And we got it out of the box and hooked up. Well the thing didn't work at all. So we brought it back, and got a different one. Well this one keeps skipping, says disk error, or it will just not work. And If you have anything on top of the dvd player, it will over heat. So please take my advice and save your money. Go buy one of better quality.
takes up a little too much space for me, but the kids love the sound, makes the games sound better too...good buy /value for the money
Nice looking product for any room. Priced well for gift giving. I would love to open one of these from under my tree this year. Excellent sound and did I say love the price.
Me and my husband bought this system less than 3 months ago,it was working good at the beginning good surround,but a few weeks ago the dvd player started to turn off not only that but it was skipping the movies or when you are wathching the movie out of nowhere it would freeze and then it says disc error the first time this happend I thought it was the movie I took it out cleaned but it kept doing it so I tried different movies but nothing.Trust me don't waste your money on this you are better off buying a system a little more expensive but it will be worth it. THE DVD PLAYER IS VERY POOR IN QUALITY, IT OPERATES ON ITS ON, ITS DOES NOT READ DVD'S WELL AND THE FUNCTIONS ARE poor
Ok so I saw this system and immediately pounced on it. It would replace a regular sterio I had hooked up to my TV. It was only 200 watts, so more power PLUS 5 speakers should mean a better experience right? WRONG! I had all the components hooked up, fed through the ceiling and turned on a movie. Yes all the speakers worked, but they barely produced any sound. It was noticible, but not loud enough for a typical movie. My advice, save a bit more and get a 500 or 1000 watt system. These speakers would be equal to an Ipod hooked up to standard headphones and cranked up to full volume - not too loud....

This product is a great buy i have a one bedroom apt and this works and sounds great. Easy to hook up to my gaming system with really good sound quality. If you looking for a cheap and easy hookup surround sound you need this in your life.
Drastically improves the overall movie watching experience in your home. A big improvement over standard TV speakers, but it does lack the ability to play Blu-Ray movies.
This system has dynamic sound that all will enjoy when either listening to music, watching tv, or a movie...most people do not know you can always attach them to your pc. Making game play undeniably, and unlike no other youve experienced...i recommend to all :)
I bought this dvd system and the dvd player would only play some of my movies. it had a mind of its own. Even renting movies would be a challange not knowing what would play and what would not. Just a waist of money.
