Good Product for the Price

This is a good, steady lantern. The dim setting is enough for getting ready for bed in the tent at night, and the bright is enough to light up a good-sized area at night. Ours has been knocked around in the car, played with by toddlers, and exposed to misty mornings, and we haven't had any trouble with it at all. I do wish it had a little nightlight on it, but for the price it's a very good lantern. And the red is easy to find, which is always good!

Coleman Light!

This lantern is great and convenient! We bought ours in July and have been camping numerous times since. The light is bright enough to light up your entire camp site or you can tone it down with a dimmer selection. We have not had to replace the batteries yet! Its perfect when you have kids, so that you don't have to worry about propane burns and they are safer in tents and brighter than flashlights! They are also perfect for power outages! I love it!

not too bright

this lantern does not hold a candle in comparison to the propane powered lamps. it is hardly bright enough to read by. on the up side it puts out very little heat so in the summer it might be ok just as a nightlight in your tent.
