Line Wrenches Not Available in Stores...WHY?

Combination Metric Wrench Set, 11 Pc —

Sales Specials mailed out plus the Tool Catalog carry the Craftsman Line Wrench , but the Stores Don't..! Many of the Item's in the Sales Special's Mailed out the Stores Do Not Carry Nor Have Ever Carried..!!!

They Simply Tell You ...The Item Must Be Ordered From The Catalog and Shipped To The Store For Pick-Up or To My Home , That Cost Me More Money since it Now Becomes a "SPECIAL ORDER ITEM" Plus Shipping..!!!

If it is in the Catalog...it should be in the stores...Period..!

CRAFTSMAN has a Reputation as One Of the FINEST TOOLS and SEARS has a REPUTATION of Being there to Supply the TOOL you Need When You Need It..!

But it seems Now ..the TOOLS aren't there...and Most TOOL DEPARTMENT'S are so Badly Stocked and Managed (Richardson/Mesquite) it appears that a Middle school Student who Doesn't Know the difference between Metric and SAE is in Charge.

GET SEARS and CRAFTSMAN BACK TO THEIR PROPER PLACES...I MISS THEM..!!!

Planograms
The tool stocking locations are determined in CHICAGO and send out as graphical Planograms that all Sears full-line stores MUST follow.
The good news is that the difference between the Metric and Fractional (S.A.E.) tools are often the difference between a light-grey plastic holder and a black holder.
For a real laugh, you've got to see how the 6 and 12 pnt. sockets and combination wrenches are displayed!

Good news! If you do a store to web purchase, there are often shipping cost "wavers" for the Customer. These promotions a cyclic, similar to the using Sears Credit saving an extra percentage on purchases are done periodically, through the year.

A "line-wrench"...
Are we talking solid flare-nut wrench sets, like the Craftsman raised panel handle wrenches or the new highly-polished, Metric or Society of Automotive Engineers (S.A.E.) wrenches?
The catalog only lists a set of Imperial brandname "ratcheting" line wrenches.
These are BIG TIME specialty tools - something the catalog is designed to offer.
Stores are designed to carry 75 percent of Customer needed tools, with the catalog bringing up another fifteen to twenty percent, and the Internet catching up to about 98 percent of most Customers' tool needs.
