The cushion warms up about two minutes before the engine does and thus gives comfortable heat before the car heater is able to warm up the driver. The massage works very well. Although the units heats in a fair amountof time 4-5 min., I found it not easy to fit over my seat without sliding and also found the positioning of the message devices and/or padding to be akward.
