Defective. both of them. Tick. and turn. but do not shut off. Useless.
This automatic shut off timer is very simple to connect and use. Just turn the dial to the amount of time and let it go. The water has always completely shutoff when the time was up.
THis is a great watering timer for 10.00.
I use it to fill up my pool, being in florida the water eveporates faster and needs additional water 3 or 4 times a week.
This timer is easy to use and seems to work very well.
Easy to connect, just set for the amount of time and it will turn off by itself.
If your looking for a timer to just turn off the water, this is for you.
Not good as it restricts the water flow too much.
exactly what I needed to water the lawn that has no sprinkler or timer, unfortunately the connection to the fucet broke off after a week or so?
Bought for my Dad because he said he couldn't water his garden because he always forgets to turn off the water. I fixed that.
This is an excellent mechanical timer. I have an electronic timmer but this mechanical one is so simple I hardly ever use the more expensive electonic timer. My ony problem with this timer is I left it on the hose all winter and a sub-zero freeze did it in. Hey... my bad. I am buying another one and I will store it in my garage this winter. But for 10 bucks, I could buy a new one every year for the price of some of those hard to program and use electronic ones and still come out ahead.
