Conair 2 in. Professional Ceramic Straightener —
My thought in buying this 2" Conair straightener was that its bigger plates would cover more area and take less time to straighten my hair. Boy, was I wrong! The plates are too big, so it catches my hair and pulls single strands out. Ouch! The 1" version is much more preferable and versatile, meaning I can pull the ends in to make a slight curl if I choose. This 2" version doesn't do that so well.
The ceramic plates do heat up quickly, however, and they can get hot enough to get the job done. The heat seems to distribute evenly across the plate, as a ceramic plate should. My recommendation is to invest in the 1" version.
