I'm Impressed!

Being a nurse wearing cotton uniforms, I am certainly impressed with this garment steamer. 100% cotton warmup jacket full of wrinkles coming out of the dryer...this steamer took ALL the wrinkles out! No need for an iron and ironing board anymore. Filled to the max, it was a bit of a slow start, but I... read full review »

Not what I expected

I bought this steamer thinking it would steam away just about any garment I owned. After using this product I can only conclude that this product works only on light/thin clothing. It just did not product enough steam pressure to eliminate heavier wrinkles. An attractive price but poor performance.

It does the job!

Its small, portable, works pretty well, very well priced, but you get what you pay for. Not the best, but what can you expect from a 20-30 dollar steamer when the next step up is $100+ . I just wish sears carried or conair made a steamer a little more high quality, for under $100. But over all it works and is good!

I bought this a couple of years ago. You cannot expect to use it for everything that has to be pressed such as a cotton shirt. You can use it to take wrinkles out of something that doesn't require a pressed or pleated look such as knits. So if you are looking to replace steam ironing with this product,, don't expect that. Why buy it, you ask? Some items are a lot easier to steam out while hanging such as a dress or a pair of pants. You can put the nozzle on the inside of the garment and steam it from the inside out. Some items are already pressed but look wrinkled from being folded or the way they... read full review »

So Far So Good

The reason I bought it was to kill mites or bugs...It gets very very hot must be over 120 degrees for sure. I've only had it one day. I steamed items such as my purses, baskets, etc. Also tried it on a button shirt and it worked great. It's very hot, compact and seems to be durable. I'm happy with it so far.

Waaaaaaay better than ironing!

This is probably the best investment I've made. Going from the medical industry wearing scrubs everyday to an office wearing professional attire, this steamer cuts my ironing down to just shirt collars to get that "crisp" look. It is great for creases on shirt arms, pant legs and such. It's also great for shirts with beads and intricate detail. I've steamed borrowed prom dresses and any trace of scents are removed. It doesn't replace dry cleaning but sure does cut down! I can steam a pair of pants in about a quarter of the time that it takes to iron them. I use it in the bedroom to steam pillows,... read full review »

Perfect

Just what I needed. I was tired of the small hand-held steamers clogging up on me and needing water all the time, but I don't need a full-blown commercial-type steamer. This unit really fits the bill for me. It steams well, takes wrinkles out of everything I've thrown at it, and I'm very well pleased.

Not happy with it

It takes too much time to start releasing the steam. It takes too long to get wrinkles out. It releases steam for a couple of seconds and then stops for a few more seconds; and then starts again. This process is repeated all the time. It does not release steam consistently. This is the reason for it to be so slow. The fact that it does not have a stand helps a little when it comes to storing it. However, when it needs to be used, then some place has to be found to hang the clothing.

I love this thing

I have been putting off geting this product for awhile now. Sears had them on sale, so for the price it was worth a try. I loved it. My husband wears the heavier dress shirts to work and it took the wrinkles out instantly. My son tried it with a shirt he had that was extremely wrinkled, and it was done in less then a minute. Now he wants one for college.

steam burn and cracked hose

I used this steamer 4 or 5 times for just a few clothing items. It was ok and did well on most fabrics. The 5th or 6th time I used it, I received a rather nasty steam burn and noticed that the steam was coming through a crack at the top of the hose where it was connected at the steam wand. The tubing had split from the heat!

Best $39 I ever spent

This compact little steamer is great for fast steaming of your clothing. I just took mine on vacation to the beach for my sisters beach wedding. They were so happy that I could steam everyone's wedding attair rather than run around town to find a cleaners to press their clothes! To me, it is a great product for the money.
