My model 7517 shows EO F2.  How can I find out what it means and what is the fix.  Has anyone seen this problem?

Thank you very much for the information.  Greatly appreciated.

You are welcome. This is sometimes (rarely) caused by a loose/bad connection from the keyboard to the control ribbon. You might want to try gently cleaning the connections on the ribbon with an eraser and ensuring the connection is tight (if you are attempting repair yourself).

Thank you for the tip. I'll try that before I order a keyboard. Charlie

We have the same problem with our Kenmore gas range.  We call service and was told it had to do with the computer panel and the cost for just the part was about $300.00.  We are replacing the stove instead.  Sorry for the bad news.

How old was your range before this part failed?

A power surge can "take out" an old or brand new computer controller board.

The good news is that gas appliances often use standard 120 volt power and standard 3-prong plugs, that can be plugged into Surge Protectors, often costing less than ten bucks.

Or, you can get the whole house wired for Surge Protection, via the Breaker panel.
