The Cooks Digitial deep fryer,model 2140C sold through JCPenney, was a very disappointing piece to have purchased. It looked quite impressive,but it everything but. First,when the steam hits the digital display, it literally "steams it up". You can't read anything. The timer was off, and it was rather difficult to set the desired selections. The recovery time was slow, and upon my fourth time using it the heating element died. It was sent back, with no further repurchase.I was very disappointed in this product. read full review »In the past anytime I needed to fry something I dreaded it. Oh the mess!!!!! Now this isn't a problem. Convient and easy clean up make this a great product to own.
