I have a set of corningware casserole dishes that I received as a wedding gift in 1986 and they are in the same condition as they were when I received them and that's not because they have been sitting in the cabinet not being used. I use the 2 quart casserole several times a week and the larger one several times a month. Not only are they great for everyday use, but they are also so attractive that I don't hesitate taking them to someone else's home. The largest dish has a metal trivet that also allows you to pick up a hot casserole without burning your hands. I cannot say enough good things about this set and how well it has held up and I own the white ones. The clean up so easily even when something burns on them. You just soak for about 10 minutes in warm soapy water and they come clean no problem at all. I am even considering adding to my collection as I am doing more and more entertaining for our growing family.
