Cosco Scenera Car Seat —
I bought the cosco scenera car seat to use as my back up car seat for when my son is with my parents. I bought it because it was said to keep kids riding rear faced until 33lbs. However it is not easy to install rearfacing. I have tried in 3 different cars and its really hard to get a good tight fit. The seat moves around to much when installed. I took it to a car seat tech and they got it installed tightly after about 20mins but it was hard and took a lot of pulling. I do not suggest this carseat as a back up seat. It might work fine if you have it installed and then dont take it out. Another thing i dont like about this seat is that the straps twist very easily. It is a pain having to un do and re do the straps so that they are straight.
However the seat is very cheap and can be used rearfaced to 33lbs and forward faced to 40lbs. So if you are willing to mess with the install and deal with twisted straps its not a bad seat. I personally don't use it anymore and i bought another britax marathon to use instead. They cost more money but are much easier to install and use correctly.
Overall i was not impressed with this seat and would not reccomend it to a friend.
