Craftsman 1/2 in. 8.0 amp Hammer Drill —
After a friend told me I'd be ok with my regular drill for putting tapcons in concrete, I figured I was good. Never gonna happen as I got going. I couldn't move a concrete bit with my Craftsman 3/8 drill to save my life...a waste of time. So after looking into it, I decided to get this Hammer Drill for the job. I would NEVER, and I mean NEVER go back to a regular drill for concrete again for the rest of my life. It is awesome...the power, the drive, does EXACTLY what I wanted to, and believe me, I was a little skeptical...but I wouldn't trade it for the world now. I am framing walls in a basement and drilling for tapcons to secure the walls to the concrete, this tool is AWESOME. Can't say anything bad about it, and especially for the price, it is PERFECT for the typical homeowner!!! Professionals? I'm not sure, but I can't see any negatives for it for you either....
