Pros - Easily mounted to each tool or in a line
- Only one needs to be bought if installed on a short line connecting the main line to the tool.
Cons - Plastic so it is breakable by accidental dropping or over tightening
- Can be messy when filling with oil as air bubbles may form preventing the oil from entering the chamber.
Overall, the Craftsman oiler is convenient and works well to deliver a unspecified amount of oil into your tool. You don't really know how much is enough or not enough, but we can assume this oiler does it right. It's design is the same as other oilers available at some of the "big box" stores.
However, the oiler that I purchased had a dry rotted o-ring underneath the filler screw. It quickly crumbled as I loosened it. I do plan on returning/exchanging my oiler for another. I see this as a minor issue, but I did subtract one star.

read full review »I ought this oiler for use on my 26 gallon 160 psi Craftsman air comp. The oiler has been leaking since the day I bought it. I'm close to pulling it off an manually oiling my tools.
