Craftsman 1 hp CompuCarve Computer-Controlled Compact Woodworking Machine (21754) — 

Less than a week after I bought the machine, we lost power. This machine may have the "Craftsman" name on it but it is carvewright machine. All service inquiries go to Carvewright not Craftsman. The customer service in relation to this machine is not acceptable. When the power went down on my machine, I left 3 unreturned phone calls with Carvewright and spoke to 3 different reps at Sears. Finally 2 days after the machine went down, I actually got to speak to someone at Carvewright. After troubleshooting the machine, it was determined the power supply was bad and a new one would be shipped. I was told I could expect the new one in 2 days but the part was mailed via ' standard shipping' and arrived 6 days after it was shipped. I did contact Carvewright via email to complain about the method of shipping used - needless to say they did not respond. When the machine works, it does a wonderful job. Once you have mastered the software and gain experience with various depth settings, the results are amazing. I have carved numerous photos and am still amazed with the results (having a good picture editing software is also a plus). The service is less than desireable but the results are wonderful.
