“DOA out of the box”

Craftsman 1 hp CompuCarve Computer-Controlled Compact Woodworking Machine (21754) — 

The machine looked promising. The software was about the best I have ever come across. The CompuCarve did not power up. Now the worst part, to add insult to injury...the store manager (Luis) did not want to take the unit back. He claimed that Sears computers were down. It took over 1 week and 10 hours of calls to Sears customer service to finally get my money back and Sears had the machine! Totally unacceptible.
