This 10 amp reciprocating saw is an awsome saw.I had no problem with it .I tried the 6 amp one , had to take it back because it did not have enough power. What a difference this 10 amp is. A bit heavy but not real heavy. Wish it had the angled handle like the 6 amp.

I purchased my saw when remodeling a bathroom. After cutting through a wall and gaining access to an attic, I then put it to work in cutting another access hole to a different area of the attic. This tool worked flawlessly, cutting through everything that got in it was. Blade loading and changing is easy and tooless. The saw has a long cord, allowing for you to keep cutting without having to keep moving the plugin. The saw comes with a nice storage/travel bad that holds extra blades and electrical testers, since cutting into a blind wall can lead to suprises at times. I have found that this... read full review »

I bought an older version of this saw several years ago while renovating my upstairs. It did everything I needed it to do. Since then I have used it to install roof vents, to cut tree limbs; while putting in footings for a new deck I used it to cut 3" tree roots at arms length in the sona tube hole. I have an old beat up blade for cutting below ground. I have had zero problems with it. I am currently using it to cut up built in cabinets during a kitchen renovation. What would I improve? The hole that holds the hex wrench loosened within the first year and no longer keeps the wrench secure. In fact,... read full review »

This saw can take a beating and then asks for more. Its a little on the heavy side, but compared to other models and makes which are considerably more I'll pick this one any time.

I bought this saw to cut apart a 16' camper. It was great! I went from metal to wood. It cut it all no problem.

I just purchased this saw today and I used it to cut through 4 planks. It did the job just great, lots of power and very little vibrations. The wood blade that came with the saw got bent and the tip broke off during this job but there were cuts close to the floor and I wasn't to careful. Nice hard case, toolless blade removal, and depth shoe. Come with 3 blades, which have a very nice spot in the case for storage. Nice long cord. Great saw for the price.
