Craftsman 10 in. Compound Miter Saw with Laser Trac —

After cutting molding the old fashioned way, with a manual saw and miter box, I decided it was time to make my life easier. The quick-cam miter lock makes changing angles a breeze. The handle is adjustable to your hand so it's very comfortable to use. Even the dust collection bag does a decent job. The only knock on this saw could be the laser trac. Until I got this saw I didn't understand why anyone would ever need a laser trac. Then, right in the middle of a job, mine stopped working and I discovered how quickly I had become dependent on it. It was, of course, under warrantee and quickly replaced. I hope the laser breaking in the first year isn't a sign of things to come. All total, a quality saw at a good price. Cutting angles is no longer a chore.
