“Want to get it done?”

This is the miter saw for any job...... not only is it 100% reliable but it is the best bang for the buck. I have use this to extend my deck, build the dog mansion, put up every bit of molding you can imagine and after everyone sees how AWESOME it is..... EVERYONE wants to borrow it. “Good but has some bugs to be worked out”

I buy alot of Craftsman tools because they tend to be very reliable and offer a lot of bang for the buck. While this saw cuts true and has made a lot of cuts, durability is lacking on several features. The screw handle on the miter deck is too flimsy and sticks out way to far. “Great Saw”

This puppy cuts whatever I have placed on it with no worries. Cuts true and accurate. I bought it on a sale so it was worth it. Great little saw.

“Initial thoughts.”

I haven't even used it yet, I have just set it up. All the reviews are great, so I'm sure it will perform great for the small, infrequent projects I do. i Got a great deal on sale. However, the dual bevel would be great. More importantly (and like I said, I haven't used it yet) the bevel tilt is to the left as your facing the machine, which seems like a bit awkward for a right handed person. Seems like it would be better tilting to the right, so the drop cut could be more natural (outside-in), where the tilt to the left, if you hold the handle with your right hand, starts across your body and... read full review »

“Nice saw”

Just replaced my old Craftsman compound mitre saw with this one. Used it today, for the first time. Very smooth, tight (precision) feel to it. I read the reviews before I bought it. Was a little concerned about the "laser". It took about 15 seconds to figure out where I wanted the laser to make my cut. No big deal, but I really feel that the laser is more of a "toy" than a need. I'm so used to using a square to make my cut line, anyway. I'm just a hobbiest, but I like quality. I did look at other, more expensive, saws. I felt this was the best bang for the buck. “Great Value for a Mitre Saw!”

Built a shed and finished the basement with this excellent saw. I wanted good value and performance but did not want to pay for a high-end saw. Good dust collection and laser pointer is very handy. I like the fact that it came with a stand in the package.

“Great”

The saw is great, but the stand is weak. The legs are not strong and wobble after extended use. I use it for all sorts of projects and it is great. The Dual Bevel is missing which is a pain, but if you want to save some bucks, flip the wood and buy this product.

“Greatly Improved Dust Collection”

I have an older model of this saw and moved it to portable use from my miter saw bench. This new saw has much better dust collection when connected to my cyclone dust collection system. There is absolutely no dust behind or around the saw. The lazer is a big plus. I highly recommend it.

“miter saw”

A real performer, I purchased this saw for my business.I work a lot with wood doing custom window treatments. I take it with me, and use on the job site too. This saw does eveything right. The adjustable handle is handy too. It an enjoyment everytime and make my work fun. Not too heavy to carry.
