Most Helpful Favorable Review

When my old cordless drill died after many years, I hated having to select a new one - I'm the most infrequent of do-it-yourselfers. But I am really pleased with all the features this drill has, way better than my old one. The LED light is really cool, and it is brighter than I expected it to be. ...

Most Helpful Critical Review

The batteries (model # 11371) are small. I used them in a Sears 5 1/4 Circular saw. One lasted five minutes after a full charge and it did this twice. The other lasted about 18 minutes. I don't know if it has the same problem using it as a drill.

Sears has a bigger lithium battery (model # 11374) for...

I just bought this drill to finish hanging some drywall. It was the right price, and works well.

You can't beat it!

My brother and I purchased two of these drills about 4 months ago. They were on sale, and buy one-get one half off, with the Craftsman club discount. Needless to say, we got an awesome deal on the drills, and we got the extended warranty on both of them. I previously had the bigger bulkier 19.2 as my go-to drill, but the new L-ion technology blows the previous model out of the water! The drill is super durable, has more than enough power, and it is the perfect size. The only downside I can find, so far, is the chuck on the drill tends to drop bits a lot. I have had this problem on several other... read full review »

Could not beat the price

I had to buy a new drill because I could not get a replacement battery for it. I was going to buy the combo drill and right angle drill. Then I picked up this one and right away it was a perfect fit in my hand the right size and weight. I used it to build my grand kids play set. I did all the drilling with out having to recharge the battery. When I had it get under some areas the built in light was really helpful. The price was great Drill, 2 Batteries, Charger, Carry Bag and free Radio $149.

Great Torque! Great Drill!

The the amount of torque for this drill's compact size and weight is amazing! I was hoping it would be able to perform like I needed it to and I was not disappointed. The 390 in/lbs of torque is all I need and more, especially when I use a full size lithium battery. I hope Craftsman continues down this road with other C3 tools. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great drill.

THIS DRILL ROCKS

I purhcased this drill about a month ago because I just bought a house and needed to get started on some projects. I put a pretty sizable workbench in my garage built out of 2x4 and 3/4 inch plywood. The drill went way beyond what I thought it was capable of. The torque on it is amazing and the lithium ion batteries are worth their weight in gold. My only recommendation it to go and purchase some good driver bits.

this is my third craftsman drill over time, i run them till they die, my last drill lasted me 6.5 years on the same batteries, if you buy an extended warranty, your throwing your money away, you dont need it, this drill has alot of torque, same great comfort, i love this drill even more cause its lighter, less fatigue of the hand which means more time on the honey-do list, i only have one bad thing to say and i have made dozens of comments to sears and craftsman, STOP with the thin finger grip, either coat the whole trigger and make it thicker, or just make a smooth trigger, that thin piece of...

Good Power

I have the 19.2Volt Ni-cad drill and the Lithium-ion batteries are worth the extra cash. The batteries charge quickly and the charger works as a LI-ion or Ni-cad charger so you can charge either type. Batteries also work in my 19.2V combo kit tools. A good investment. LED work light is a nice touch, especially in the crawl space drilling. A good value.

a gift for me

I bought this drill for my husband for Christmas. However, I am keeping it. He does light construction work and takes all the tools with him. I try to do work around the house, hang pictures and we are finishing our family room so I do that too. I needed a drill and took his gift out. I love this drill so he will have to get something else. It is not bulky, fits very nicely in my hand and is comfortable when I use it. The batteries are light weight and last a long time. I know he will be upset but I am keeping this drill as I love it!!!! My girlfriends need to know about this tool. GO GIRL POWER.... read full review »

Powerful Tool

I recieved this drill for may birthday in May. Finally had a chance to use it. All I can say is ....Wow. Pull the trigger and you can feel the power and torque this baby has. Comes with two batteries, sweet radio, charger, and case. As others have stated it had a great feel to it. This is one fine tool.

Awesome Drill!!!

I am very impressed with this drill so far. I have not had it long but let me tell you this thing gets the job done!! It is lite enough for me to use for a long period of time but has the power that I need when I need it. The battery almost feels like it is empty from a weight stand point. but so far has performed wonderfully. The best thing about the battery is the fast charge time. I can charge them in 30 minutes...... I was a little nervous at buying this tool for $159. However when I found out that there are other tools on this platform that can run off the same battery it seemed much more... read full review »

Great Driver

Great Driver, lots of power, easily adjustable torque, nice light, handy level on top, slim design, good price. Was especially pleased that with a light touch on the trigger, you can control the speed from barely turning to very fast. Have used Makita and Dewalt drivers commercially as a service technician for AT&T and I like this as well or better than those. Charges fast, came with an extra battery that I have not yet had to use except to run the radio.
