Craftsman 12 amp 12-1/2" Bench Planer (21758) —
I just got this planer and so far it's a great machine. Much better than all that sanding I was doing. But I noticed mine didn't plane evenly which meant the roller blades are not parallel with the base. Reading the manual on how to fix that makes no sense and seems complicated. Then I read about greasing the chains and found them hard to get to with no real instruction from the manual. So I'm a little concerned about maintaining the planer without having to take it apart to do it. I only rated reliability and durability at 3 because I haven't had it long enough to know, given my concerns about maintainence.Craftsman 12 amp 12-1/2" Bench Planer (21758)
