Craftsman 12 amp 12-1/2" Bench Planer (21758) —
I am currently building a fence...took rough sawn redwood fence from Home center building supplies...and am planing these boards..this is a great tool to have....durability (pay an extra $20 for the two years insurance, if it lasts 2 year with out problems...get an extention for insurance) reliability: buy blades ahead...order them thru the net...part center and retail do not carry them...if you are planing uneven surfaces...be ready and pay attention if the feed is being forced...just crank up the height and re plane it again...you don't need a bag for collecting dust-there is no dust, the particles are big enough for them not to be distributed into the air, just put a board about 2 feet away from the connector, everything will drop to the floor-collect it...
