“Just when you thought Craftsman lost it's way”

Craftsman 12&#34 Drill Press 21914 — 

I have owned power tools from just about everyone that makes one, and have had free-standing Delta and Jet Drill presses. This drill press isn't in their league, or even close. But it's the best bench-top drill press I've ever used, and one of the best Craftsman bench tools I own. For the price I wouldn't even dream of trading it. The reliability and ease of use of all the extra features make it worthwhile. If I had to change a thing, I'd like about another inch on the stroke, and a little less wobble when adjusting the work table. The digital depth measurement is top notch; the depth stop adjustment works well; speed change is easy; and I just can't believe I haven't seen that handle on another saw. It's great. Love this one, and having seen it I just may buy another Craftsman power tool.
