Craftsman 12-gal 5.0 peak hp Wet/Dry Vac —

I like to thoroughly research an item before I buy it. I read many reviews and this wet/dry vacuum was highly recommended. You will not be disappointed. I purchased the vac to do a bathroom flooring project that involved grinding and cutting into concrete. Two words describe the project: obscenely dusty. Two words describe the performance of the Craftsman vac: no problem. I actually used it to remove dust from the air while I was working in the bathroom! The vac uses a filter (a HEPA model is available) and although it is not referenced online or in the manual, the hose connection inside the canister has a lip to accomodate a bag if you wanted to use one.

This Craftsman wet-dry vac has a 12 gallon tank paired with a 5.0 peak horsepower motor, making it an excellent choice for home improvement, garage and workshop use. Powerful 5.0 peak horsepower motor and large 2-1/2" diameter hose and attachments can handle larger messes quicker and easier than less powerful vacs with smaller hoses. 12 gallon tank includes convenient drain port, making it easier to empty the vac of wet messes when the job is complete.
