On Sale, 50% off......or not?

I received the regular Sears on-line flyer yesterday and the cover page features a full color ad showing this vacuum at 50% off until November 25th. When I tried to order it, it came up at the full price, so I phoned the "help" desk. They said this vacuum wasn't in any sale flyers, so I offered to forward a copy of the e-mail to them, but the person said they aren't able to receive e-mails? She referred it to a supervisor who pointed out the fine print "Sears shall not be held responsible for errors or omissions in pricing". We've spent thousands on furniture and appliances at Sears, so they shall be responsible for losing our business over $40.

We've been selling that Shop Vac at the store.

There was a "pile" (bulk stack) of them, out in the main aisle.

Come to the store.

I'll ring it up for MPU pickup - just like a web-to-store pickup, for you and they'll load it into your vehicle.

I would have bought one myself, cept'n there's already a few vac's here at home.
