What a waste of money! What an incredibly useless piece of garbage!

I am extremely pleased with my trimmer. This lightweight and easy-to-use machine is really the best value for your buck. As long as you don't mind the electrical extension cord, I'm sure you'll be pleased with this machine. Besides, the (expensive) gas trimmer I had previously been using was a pain... No more gas fumes in my garage!
I have had the trimmer less than three years and right now it is useless.
I have tried new spools and new line and it just burns right through the line.
Yesterday I went through two new spools of line in less than twenty feet of trimming.
I can't figure out what is wrong, so will most likely replace it.
This is the first Craftsman tool ever to have such a short life and I have owned at least 30 different items.
This trimmer was easily assembled and works perfectly. I bought it over one year ago and I am just now replacing the trimmer line. The trimmer is light weight and easy to operate. Thanks for a great product.
I must say I was very surprised by the ease of assembly, plus being lightweight, it is quite easy to use. My husband has a gas trimmer, but I find it difficult to start and too much trouble. So this trimmer is just the ticket for me.
I GOT THIS ON SALE FOR $20.00 AND MY HUSBAND THOUGHT IT WOULD BE JUNK COMPARED TO HIS GAS TRIMMER. I CAN WORK MY WEEDER FASTER THAN HE CAN GAS UP HIS GAS TRIMMER.
I purchased this trimmer for some small areas around the yard. I was surprised on how easy it was to assemble (only took 5 minutes). It does it's job well and is really light to handle. Really a great buy!.
Fully assembled and on the job in about two minutes. This trimmer is such a pleasure to use, you could almost call it fun. I highly recommend it to those looking for instant gratification in the garden.
This Craftsman Line Trimmer is an outstanding product, well worth you time and money.
I have had my trimmer for around 4-5 years. It's been great! I haven't had any trouble with it ever.
I liked the original performance, until the line became tangled and wouldn't feed. Trying to get the spoll off was very hard compared to my old Black and Decker. Have gone to three Sears stores in Chicagoland area and couldn't buy a replacement; and you know winding yourself is never as good. Tried on line to buy replacement spool; no luck there either. I should have bought a different one AFTER checking for replacement spools. Gave one as a gift; am I embarrassed.
I've had mine for just over a year now, and it runs flawlessly. I'm mowing down a quarter acre of grass twice per year (not heavy usage), but I just finished my fourth run with it and I'm still using the original spool. Awesome buy for the money!
