blower gave out in one season. attemted to get it serviced by sears they would not even think about backing their product because i hadlost reciept. good friend bought 7.000 dollars in kitchen appliances last month at loweswouldnt even consider sears becausethey had sameproblem as i did with sears.good...

Very strong blower. Better that what I expected for what I paid for. More quiet then the gas one. I'm using it to blow grass, leaves and debris off the driveway. It's quicker and cleaner than using a broom. No commend on thge vacuum feature as I have no need to use it yet.
I'm not really a big fan of leaf blowers; most of the time you'll see me sweeping up with a broom; likewise I'm not a big weedwacker fan (do it as seldom as I thing I can get away with), but I do admit that there are times when I've got a lot of debris I want to move around that would take awhile with a broom (mostly when I'm hot, tired, and lack for time)...so I went out and bought a Craftsman 12amp Electric Blower with Vac Kit (Sears item# 07174824000) when my old blower conked out and I couldn't repair it (circuit board broke apart around motor).
Well, the blower part seems to work well enough...

This lawn blower/vac has a lot of power as compared to my last electrical blower/vac. It has convenient power switch and the high speed helps. The strap for the bag is a bit too long for my height. But it you are over 5'7", it would be perfect. I am not able to reduce the length so it does become a bit ackward and extends down to my knees.
The vacuum needs to have it own extension, so when you have to change from blower to vac, it takes a bit of time to remove and then add the parts and pieces. I prefer one that has a switch from blower to vac. Overall, it does have the power for...
