“works well, make sure you use a ruler”
I bought for installing a click'n lock cork floor. It worked very well for that and was not taxed. Since then I've started to get into some woodworking and the first thing I built was a workbench. I changed the blade for a quality combination blade and the saw performed well, even cutting 2 inch thick hard maple. I was able to cut without burning as long as I didn't rush the cuts. The fence is a bit sloppy when locking into place but nothing that couldn't be handled with a ruler. I always measured the blade front and back relative to the fence. The miter gauge is pretty cheesy so I think I'll upgrade that. Then if and when the saw dies I'll have a quality miter gauge.
