My wife bought this on sale for me on my birthday. I was skeptical at first, not believing it would have much power or be useful for projects around the house, after all, how good could it be for $99.00. Boy, was I wrong. This little saw is one of my favorite tools!!. It always does just exactly what I need with little to no fuss. It makes me look like I know what I am doing. The only issue is the adjustments are not very precise, so you will want to take your time and check you measurements several times before cutting, but other than that I love this saw. Thanks Honey!
I just recently purchased this table saw and is the first one I have ever owned. I own many craftsman products and love them all so the decision was easy when the time came that I needed a table saw. I thought that for the price it would not perform at a higher level then it did. I installed laminate and needed this saw for many cuts needed to get close enough to the walls and to make cuts for the rounded corners that my house has. I was completely satisfied with this product and would recommend it to any home owner with small to medium sized jobs around the house.

This saw is perfect for what I bought it for - light use and ripping a few trim boards.. So far it has performed as expected. One thing I like about it is that its light enough to where I can easily carry it outside and cut when I need it, rather than get the garage full of dust.
I bought this saw after it went on sale and only bought it for the bang for the buck. After I used it, I was satisfied. This table saw has plenty of power and enough precision for a homeowner. My only gripe is that it seems that they could have built it more solid. It seems like the components are fragile and that you should definitely handle it gently. It operates as it should for now, but I am using it with caution.
I bought this saw several years ago, but have used it very little. I would think that in total, it probably had less than 20 hours of use in it. It recently failed during a very minor amount of use and the engine began smoking and began to seize up. The arbor is too small to use anything other than a regular blade, and a dado will not work due to it's arbor size and limited power. You really get what you pay for, but I would've expected a table saw to last a little longer with no more use than it gets in my house. The fence is never accurate and I always had to use a framing square...

I've had other Table Saws in my shop but none has been as good or lasted as long as my Craftsman 10" Table Saw that came with it's own stand. It's the most used tool in my workshop. I've had mine for many years now and it's still going strong.
This saw is a workhorse on the cheap. It does have a narrow table and is easy to tip, but it has held up over the 5+ years I've owned it.
I bought for installing a click'n lock cork floor. It worked very well for that and was not taxed. Since then I've started to get into some woodworking and the first thing I built was a workbench. I changed the blade for a quality combination blade and the saw performed well, even cutting 2 inch thick hard maple. I was able to cut without burning as long as I didn't rush the cuts. The fence is a bit sloppy when locking into place but nothing that couldn't be handled with a ruler. I always measured the blade front and back relative to the fence. The miter gauge is pretty cheesy so I think I'll upgrade...
read full review »I owned this saw for two months, I attempted to crosscut 3/4" plywood and 3/4" red oak with a 10" freud ultra fine finish crosscutting blade with the same results...burning. The saw is supposed to be able to cut up to 3" at 90 degrees, and it probably will, but it fails to cut 3/4" hardwoods. I was able to cut through some shoe moulding with ease. As the others have said, the fence is never straight and the miter gauge is pitiful, and the only metal on the saw is the top and legs, the body of the saw is plastic. On the plus side, you can return it within 90 days with the receipt and packaging!...
