Craftsman 14" High Lawn Tractor Snow Blade —
The whole snow attachments system for the Sears tractor are a waste of money. I have had nothing but problems with it. First of all these lawn tractors are not designed for snow plowing. I bought the chains, wheel weights and even tied sand bags to the back of my tractor and it still slips and slides all over the place. The chains fall off no matter how well you secure them. I have tied them with wire and bungy cords and they still come off after a while. I have broken the tie rod ends twice now in two years plowing wet heavy snow. If it is a sleet type snow or freezing rain then snow, forget it. The tractor will not plow anything. The tires just spin even with the chains and weights. I got so fed up with trying to plow snow with this tractor, I went out and bought a $700 snow blower rather than fight with the chains, weights, front end parts and constant slipping and sliding.
