Too many fixes.

I have used the new snowblade for two storms in two days, and have already done three repairs on the substandard hardware. First one of the four cotter pins fell out (main horizontal rod). I put it back and then it sheared off. I went to the store to buy a new, heavier, steel one. It is working. By then another cotter pin had sheared off (the end of the control handle.) As soon as that was fixed, the palnut on the spring rod fell off. No one in town had a replacement, so I had to replace the rod with a carriage bolt. Each of these part failures caused the blade to drop suddenly, but the blade is working now that I have replaced the soft substandard pins with hardened steel Overall I spent two hours moving snow and two hours running to the hardware store and doing repair work. Not acceptable, in my book. I will say that the engineering design of the actual blade and adjustment handle is quite good and easy to use, so it's too bad the hardware doesn't match up.
