Good, but hard for blade to get down to driveway!!

I bought this blade as an alternative to my snowthrower in wet/heavy snow. I just tried it with the snow/sleet that we have been getting lately (which may not really be a fair test.) The entire tractor & blade rode up onto the icy snow. I really couldn't plow because I couldn't get down to the driveway with the blade. Also, as I was riding the tractor and skimming the top layer of snow off, as I got to the end of the driveway there would be too much snow for the blade to handle, so the blade would tip forward and I would have to back up and lift the blade up and plow in layers in order to push the snow to its destination. It is a good product, but I don't know if it can really handle wet snow. Also, I have adjusted the bolts on the blade spring to increase tension, hoping that this would allow the blade to plow longer before it tips forward (due to the snow being too heavy.). I am still waiting for wet snow (not the icy mix that we have now).
