Craftsman 16" Variable Speed Scroll Saw (21602) —
I recently went to purchase my third craftsman scroll saw as I have been very pleased with the previous 2 over the years. To my disappointment the price range model ($119) that I had been using had a major design change. The blade can not be adjusted to cut from the side (45 degrees from the frontal cut). This limits the length of the wood that can be passed through the saw to the depth of the throat, 16 inches. Since most of my designs are longer than that, I cannot use this saw and will have to shop somewhere else.Craftsman 16" Variable Speed Scroll Saw (21602)
