Craftsman 16 ga. Finish Nailer Kit with Magnesium Body —

I've had an older model of this nailer for 3 years because I needed something larger than the 18 ga. finish nailer that came with the pancake compressor. After seeing how well the 18 ga. worked, the decision was easy. It is not an over-statement to say that this nailer revolutionized the way I think about project construction. The holding power is exceptional. The ease and accuracy with which it drives up to 2 1/2" finish nails impresses me. I am currently using it while building new kitchen cabinets. I was a bit hesitant about driving 2 1/2" nails through 3/4" facing into the edge of 1/2" particle board without having breakouts. The hesitation was unwarranted. It worked perfectly in a fraction of the time it would have taken to drive them the old fashioned way. Some time in the near future I am going to add full-head construction nailer to the set. Just need a project to justify that purchase. Great finish nailer. Absolutely no problems with it.
