I purchased this nail gun to help out with some trim work: casing, crown molding & baseboards. Ever since we bought a new house I've been working on trim and it has seemed like a never-ending product. Since I bought this nailer last month I've been able to move so much faster - it literally cuts the time more than in half! Lots of power, very portable, and in my case it was well worth the money. The nails are also surprisingly inexpensive! I think I got 2,000 nails for ten or fifteen bucks? That's great! As a beginner at DIY stuff I was concerned that air tools would be too complicated for... read full review »

I bought this nailgun as my first nailgun in my tool collection. I had never really used a finishing nail gun before but I needed it for my "furniture-making" projects. It was really easy to use and the features are really straightforward. It has a rapid nail feature as well as a single shot feature. It is easy to unload a jammed nail.

I have used it to nail together different pieces of wood with nails ranging from 1 inch to 2 1/2 inches. All of them work really well. There is enough power to do all the nailing I need to do. It is light-weight and comes with a carrying case for it. I plan...

I've only used it to nail together one workbench drawer (yes, also glued), but boy does it make life easier! I bought the nailer mainly for installing oak floor trim but haven't used it for that yet. Over the years (about 53 of them so far) I have tried to buy mostly Craftsman tools. Most have been a good experience but occassionally I get a real dud. This nailer hasn't been used enough to make a judgenment on endurance. Ask me again this time next year!

I used this gun to build a desk, shelving, and some birdhouse stuff. I had zero issues with it. I had never used nail guns in the past, so I took the leap and ventured out and picked this one up. I am glad I did. I have had no jamming or issues, and have gone through over 2-3000 nails through it so far in just a few months. i couldnt be happier with it.

I HATE trim work!

Gee, I hate trim work, especially Crown Molding! With a hammer, nails, ladder and a piece of trim - Now that's what I call punishment. We purchased this finish nailer in a kit with the brad nailer and stapler and let me tell you, trim work is now bearable! The nailer worked flawlessly! It saved my manicure AND my fingers. All nails were set below the surface and they hold like you wouldn't believe. Looking forward to using the other two tools!

Hammer No More

I've had an older model of this nailer for 3 years because I needed something larger than the 18 ga. finish nailer that came with the pancake compressor. After seeing how well the 18 ga. worked, the decision was easy. It is not an over-statement to say that this nailer revolutionized the way I think about project construction. The holding power is exceptional. The ease and accuracy with which it drives up to 2 1/2" finish nails impresses me. I am currently using it while building new kitchen cabinets. I was a bit hesitant about driving 2 1/2" nails through 3/4" facing into the edge of 1/2" particle... read full review »

Well Worth the Money

I purchased this nail gun with the hopes of saving time when finishing out my basement. WOW was I amazed! It more than doubled my productivity and definately saved my knees when it came to the baseboard. I love the fact that you dont have to worry about nails bending. Just place the gun against the trim pull the trigger and voila. Only experienced 1 jam, and was able to clear it in about 15 seconds because of the way the gun opens up. Another great feature is the overall weight it is very light and well balanced in the hand.

TOP GUN!

I recently purchased this gun and I'm quite impressed. Light weight but holds to work surface. The depth adjustment is exceptional, works better than any nailer I've ever used, and it's so quick and easy. My brother-in-law has an older version and this is a good improvement. Just so you know, I have no interest in promotiing Sears products, this is simply an honest opinion!
