Craftsman 17438 Nextec 12-volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Multi-Tool —
This has been a great tool from day one. I used it to undercut the trim on the doorway when I just did my tile in the bathroom and it was incredible within seconds I had both sides done and on to the next thing. I used it to do my enlargement for the mirror vanity even cutting through 1 1/2" of drywall in my old house it flew right through. I originally started cutting with a razor knife then remembered my new tool and put it to work. The blades do wear out a little prematurely if used on drywall very much but as far as cutting through some of the 16 penny nails and 2 x 4's that I couldn't get to with a sawzall it did a great job. You can't put too much force on it as it will overload the tool but that's to be expected with anything that is 12 volts. Make sure to buy one extra battery and you'll be in great shape the charger is a 30 minute charger which gets you off and running but it is always nice to have a backup when you have two minutes worth of cutting left to do. The vacuum attachment was another great item to have when cutting through drywall to keep all the dust out of the air by hooking it to the shopvac.
