Craftsman 17438 Nextec 12-volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Multi-Tool —

I got the mult-tool for a birthday present. My first use was a mild sanding job. I followed the instructions about charging the battery before using it the first time. 20 minutes into the sanding job the light started blinking and tool stopped. I placed the batter in the charger and it would not charge. The lights never came on. I returned for an exchange. No hassles.

I returned home and attempted to charge the new battery. No joy, no lights. This puppy is going back to the store tomorrow. I'll give it one more chance, but will test the charger in the store before taking it home.
