This is my 4th snow blower that I have purchased since 1980 and by far the best. It is the first snow blower that can almost be pushed to do its job with one finger (although I use both hands). It weighs about 84 pounds, but it doesn't matter, you only have to lift it once, from the car to the garage floor. It has an MTD engine 4-cycle engine (the gas and oil are separate) with a 2 yr. warranty. My last Craftsman snow blower had a 2-cycle engine (gas and oil mixed together) with a Tecumseh engine. Likes: It even removes snow tire tracks from the driveway, my first snow blower to accomplish this feat. (You know how people put tire tracks in your driveway before you snow blow it?) 179cc engine (that equals about 6 HP) more power than ever needed. Some 2 stage snow blowers have this big of an engine. I put this baby to the test with a 24" drift- even though it only has a 10" intake, and it never even stalled... This has a metal body- (My last one was plastic). Gas and oil is now separate, I no longer smell like engine exhaust after snow blowing the driveway. Toledo just had 14" of snow in the past few days and for the first time in my life; I didn't care because of the quality snow blower that I just purchased. Someone mentioned that the rubber replacement parts for the auger were expensive and this is not true. The 2 spirals are 8.59 each and the rubber paddles are 3.01 each at Sears's parts total: 23.20 plus shipping. Dislikes: I am 6' 2 and the handle is a bit low for me, but this machine operates with such ease that the handle height is not a big deal. I did use white spray lithium grease from Murray's on the chute handle turning assembly to make it easier to turn after I bought the unit.
